Advisory Neighborhood Commission 1E -- representing the Park View, Pleasant Plains, and Howard University communities -- was established as a new ANC on January 1, 2023. Prior to that date, the area north of Columbia Road was part of ANC1A and the area south of Columbia Road was part of ANC1B.
